Just thought I’d let all of you loyal MOs know that after visiting my site every day since I last posted, (correct, I’ve been getting hits every day) I have decided to do a total revamp of the blog.

It’s going to be opinionated, obviously. DUHH. However, I’m working on some new techy shit which includes backgrounds, logos and an all round revamp of the site. It’s going to be a lot more musically orientated with me hopefully getting interviews with some bands from RiseRecords (can’t say who yet!) While you’re at it, follow me on Twitter, yeah? You’re all probably wondering why I haven’t made a genuine post for about 2 or 3 weeks. I’d like to think it’s mainly because there’s been an improvement in my usual socially inadequate life. I’ve been out and about, I’ve been talking to new people and shit. It’s been pretty cool but I thought I’d make a blog post because you’ve all been so abused over the last three weeks, not that I give a shit or anything.

Life is good. I’ve found someone really special, and the next few weeks are going to be amazing. No joke, I’ve never looked forward to six weeks of school before Christmas so much. I’ve got a week in school as per usual, but then I’ve got the Boyce Avenue gig!

Fair enough. I’m REALLY REALLY excited. Guess what? The week afterwards, I’m going to London on Work Experience with the MP for Monmouth, David Davies. I can safely say that it’s going to be really interesting for me because of the large interest I take in current affairs. I’ve got a free day in London on Wednesday aswell, because I’m working in the Usk library on Saturday morning instead, which means I’m free to roam London for the first time ever! This should be very interesting, I want to save some cash though, because on that Saturday I’m going to see FUCKING PAUL WELLER. Ahh! He’s like my God. So I’m going to need merch and beer money for the night.

I haven’t even finished yet. SO. After I’ve seen Paul Weller I’ve got a week off just at school, which I’m okay with. Simply because on Monday 6th December I’m going to go see You Me At Six and The Blackout… together. I’m just like freaking out at the thought. It’s going to be so so so so so good. ^_^

WOO FUCK YEAH. Ah. I’m very excited as you can probably see. Then it’s just one more week until Christmas, when I get to go to Lincoln, and see all my family and have a good time! . These weeks will fly by!

Never been WordPress raped before, wasn’t that exciting?

I haven’t had a musing for a while, so I thought I’d write about the pure hate that I have received for cracking a tiny joke. This joke however, has had over 300 retweets, acheiving Top Tweet status. Says it all already, really. The joke is below.

‘All Time Low should make a song called ‘The Wanted’ JUST to piss them off.’

That’s right, this totally unoriginal joke, which obviously hasn’t been heard before got over 300 retweets on my Twitter account, doubling my following altogether. But, what there! What’s that around the corner? About 5 ‘The Wanted’ stalkers who are out to get me, what on earth will I do! Here are some samples!

Okay, addressing this last comment. It’s a social networking site you dumb bitch. I’m allowed to express my opinion, I didn’t express express hatred for The Wanted, it’s just some stalkers who can’t take a joke about their beloved boys <3. Aww. how sweet. I seriously don’t get band sluts like that, all they do is dedicate their lives to buttfucking The Wanted on Twitter.

This is just the pick of the bunch. I’m not even kidding, I got praised so much, and even I can admit it was all undeserved, it wasn’t THAT good, but here’s some more proof anyway!

These are the 197 Retweets from my post, any mobile retweet from mine doesn’t count, as it would have ‘RT’ on there instead. I’ve seen people who have used the joke under my name getting over 20RTs each, so that’s how I got the 300 total!

All of these next photos are genuine, and when you search those words on Twitter, you WILL find my tweet up there, that’s how well the joke was taken, for everyone except some band stalkers!

So, that’s my story for tonight. I received hatred from a few band stalkers who can’t seem to take a joke about their beloved band! How exciting my life is.

Okay, not the best of ways to start this horrific review, of a review site. First of all, we have Kerrang! First impressions always count, ThrashHits.

This is WHY every other metal site, however big or small, is BETTER than ThrashHits.

This pathetic excuse for a review site came up with this title:

‘We always thought The Blackout were shit but now we think they’re wankers too’

First thing I’d like to point out here is that ThrashHits are currently ‘dissing’ The Blackout for giving money to charity! How nice are they?! This is regarding the PledgeMusic campaign. Pledge is basically a way for a band to interact with fans, by getting exclusive content and other very special things. It’s an £8 to sign up and ‘pledge’ , and if you get any of the exclusive extras, you get that £8 back. Even for £8, you get the project download (regarding the new album) and several other things. That isn’t a bad price in itself. Here are some of the things that The Blackout are offering:

‘ThrashHits’ don’t seem to like the idea of fans paying to do activites with their possibly ‘favourite band’ and NO money at all going into the record label’s pocket. Half of the money is going to charity, what a bunch of fuckers they are! That’s what ThrashHits think anyway. Besides their horrific grammar and spelling mistakes for a suspected ‘top metal site’ , all the reviews they publish are always trash. I could write better reviews whilst drunk, I’m not even being serious. Simply calling The Blackout wankers to fill their own egos about how the music world should be run isn’t right.

Fuelled up on Red Bull, I  had a nice evening talking with Leanne and Elliot, mostly about strangely perverse things, including some really, really, awful jokes, and some really hilarious put-downs fired across the chat. Was quite enjoyable in a way actually, hopefully going to Whitland sometime in the summer to see them .

Going to Aberystwyth tomorrow for THREE DAYS. Got my nice hotel room booked >_>. Should be a laugh, I guess. I want to embarrass Jack somehow, not quite sure yet. I can give Carmarthen Cricket Club a piece of my mind, lazy cunts.

What else? Ah yes, Lincoln City have had a shocking start of the season, deary me, but my fantasy team the ‘Woozy Bankers’ is mid-table after the start of the Premier League, which isn’t too bad.
